Magic Bullets - Will Scarlet

Do you ever feel nostalgia for an era you never lived through? For some reason I personally feel connected to the 60’s. I guess I did kind of look like Opie as a kid. When I hear the band the Magic Bullets it channels some sort of 60’s rock nostalgia in my brain. I am standing in front of the Delta House, from Animal House, going to see the band play in their basement. The 60’s sort of party where everyone is drinking cheap beer with the pull tabs and dancing like idiots.

The songs have the warmth to them and sound like they were recorded live in one long take. The bass is loud and rolls the listener through the whole album and drops them off at the end. If you like this track you should definitely check out the full album “a child but in life yet a Doctor in love” and if you live in San Francisco go see them.
