Ode to Keaton

September 22, 2007

Oh, Keaton Dear Keaton,

Where have you gone?

You’ve left us to lust.

You’ve left us to long.

You Selfish SOB!

The talent you’ve squandered!

Now in hope. In Vain.

For you alone we wander.

You thought you could tease us.

You knew you could taunt.

It was happiness you gave us.

A cruel thing to flaunt.

That pretty Boy Bale is simply a hack.

He may be more fit but it is you we want back.

Oh dear Michael this poem may be a Desperate Measure,

But your triumphant return would be everyone’s pleasure.

No projects pre-production on IMDB

The last thing mentioned

mini-siries ‘The Company’.

I swear to god M. K.

I’ll kill a little boy!

Unless you promise me a sequel,

preferably to White Noise.

Had to read it twice. Random for sure but funny as hell and well written. Nice.

Keaton has also just been announced to be the lead in Media 8 Entertainment’s upcoming film Reaper, a supernatural thriller, expected for a 2008 release. He has also recently agreed to star as John Target in the Matt Evans scripted No Rule To Make Target. He is directing the drama movie The Merry Gentleman. Keaton was also cast as Dr. Jack Shephard in the series Lost, with the understanding that Jack would have been a small role and only in the show for a short time, however the character was given a large role and Keaton couldn’t commit to it because of other commitments, the role was later given to actor Matthew Fox.

A nice follow-up for this ode would be a sonnet based on Rick Moranis.

WSM Says: You must be John Edwards cause you just read me mind.

They are doing a sequel to White Noise but Keaton won’t be in it.

Why the hell would you do a sequel to White Noise?

Got something to say?
